The first phase of repurposing a title typically requires standard types of “Reversioning” services.

XTracks refers to Reversioning as the traditional method of repurposing a title for a broad range of distribution channels.

Reversioning services include Spanish SAP, (DVS) Descriptive Video Services SAP, foreign dubbing, translation, voice casting/directing, airline reformatting, cut downs and content changes along with fully filled and augmented M&E’s.

XTracks is prepared to handle any and all types of traditional reversioning requirements a title may need in order to be re-distributed properly.

Music Replacement

Phase two of the XTracks process involves full and partial “Music Replacement” services.

Music licensing and clearance issues always seem to be what holds up a title from being distributed to its fullest extent.

Our music division provides worldwide, in perpetuity, all media rights for Background Instrumental catalogs, Indie Artists catalogs and Popular Song catalogs. XTracks can provide both English vocals and foreign language vocals in any style of music required.

For titles that need more specific music services, we offer over 150 composers worldwide along with in-house composers available for re-scoring, re-records and sound-a-likes.

If you can’t replace music because you only have composite/mixed elements, we can separate the music and dialog using our “Xtraction” processing technology.

Enhancement

Phase three of the XTracks process is to provide services that enhance and modernize the sound and picture of a title.

Once you have opened up your title for Reversioning and Music Replacment why not provide a heightened experience for the viewer.

XTracks “Enhancement” services include mono or stereo to 5.1 or 7.1 surround re-mastering, standard 2D picture to 3D, 3D sound enhancement to augment the 3D picture experience, Advanced color grading/correction to modernize the look of a title and a full music replacment of the score to modernizes the music of the title from dated to current.

“Xtraction” - Music and Dialog Separation

XTracks can separate your composite mix elements.

A problem that many titles have is they have limited or no split track audio elements available. Without split track elements (Dialog, Music and Sound Effects) you cannot easily provide foreign language dubbing or replace music that is too cost prohibitive to license.

Our proprietary “Xtraction” processing technology can remove the music or dialog from composite/mixed elements which then allows XTracks to replace the music, re-mix the production in stereo or surround and provide you with a remixed version of the title along with a fully filled M&E and split track elements ready for worldwide, in perpetuity, all media distribution.
